Sales Account Manager
The overall goal of the sales and marketing team is to develop new business and to maintain existing customer relationships. A sales team is typically comprised of the following team members: Outside Sales, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering. The Sales Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for directly supporting the Critical Design’s sales objectives and initiatives to customers and prospects and to balance it with marketing efforts to generate prospects for sales. This role will require prospecting within an assigned territory/vertical to uncover net new opportunities. The SAM will identify, develop and close opportunities with new customers, manage forecasts on a quarterly basis and track customer data. In addition, the SAM will work closely with his/her team and work cooperatively leveraging various partnerships to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that best serve the interests of the customers for Critical Design.
