Joggin’ for Frogmen is an organized event operated by the Navy Seal Foundation. The first Joggin’ for Frogmen was held on July 29, 2012 in San Diego as a tribute to the 30 American warriors and one working dog lost in the Extortion 17 helicopter tragedy in Afghanistan one year prior.

Since then the event has grown to an annual event in six cities across the United States, plus virtual racers. Virtual racers are participants that choose to race from anywhere around the world and fundraise to support the Naval Special Warfare Community.

The Navy Seal Foundation helps approximately 9,000 active NSW members, families, and veterans every year by offering numerous types of programs and assistance. Pre-training programs prepare people mentally before training begins to increase resiliency and ensure success.

Active warriors and family members receive support through events, celebrations, and children’s camps; along with warrior transition services, tragedy and survivor support, and education opportunities. Veterans have their own program that allows for a personalized and responsive approach to care.

Lastly is Legacy Preservation, a program which strives to preserve the history of warriors and recognize their contributions to our freedom.

We encourage you to visit us on race day, place a donation online, or both!

All proceeds from Joggin’ For Frogmen goes to the Navy Seal Foundation, a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status, which provides support and assistance to the NSW Community and families of the fallen.
